The development procedure of this project incorporated numerous sides of the IoT industry. My motivation has never been about the pay or about the grade but instead about gaining the most possible knowledge about technology and its uses. I am motivated by obtaining the dream of gaining the required skills that would allow me not only to understand our digital world but also the ability to implement third party software and potentially even my own solutions within my personal and professional life. Below you will find the Simulated Home Automation and Security System. This system includes door sensor with LED indicators, a proximity sensor with LED/alarm indicators, and an automated light that is trigger through a light-dependent resistor. Each function of the system is shown below along with photos of the working parts on its circuit board, the code written in the Arduino IDE, and the serial-monitor data that is produced upon uploading the code. The closing section lists the challenges faced during the project, some skills gained throughout the process, and my conclusion.
